Descendents: Everything Sucks Vinyl LP

Descendents: Everything Sucks Vinyl LP

When singer Milo Aukerman left the Descendents in 1987 to pursue a career in biochemistry, the three remaining members chose to put the project on hiatus and reform as All (named after their fourth record). Eight years and six studio albums later, the members of All were left disillusioned by a major label deal that had quickly gone south. Around the same time, Milo resurrected his interest in music and reached out to his former group. This led to a partnership with Epitaph Records, which offered a far more lenient record deal for both projects. The Descendents recorded their reunion album, Everything Sucks, in the summer of 1996 and released it that September. The resulting album is noticeably more mature than previous Descendents albums and was their first to ever chart on Billboard. While the record initially received a mixed critical reception, singles ā€œI’m the Oneā€ and ā€œWhen I Get Old,ā€ as well as the titular track, have all gone on to become some of the Descendents’ most popular tracks. 15 tracks on black vinyl.
