Say what you will about Jurassic’s popularity, but these guys have always had mass appeal and if you’re going to label them with any tags it should be consistency. On their 2002 release Power In Numbers, the L.A. crew is back with the same energy and quality production values they’ve been rocking since day one. The emcees have evolved a bit with a good balance between their trademark sing-song flows and straight ahead rapping while Cut Chemist and Numark’s beat making, and overall attention to detail is nothing short of their previous works. Highlights include “Freedom, One Of Them” and the single releases “What’s Golden” and “High Fidelity.” 17 tracks total on double vinyl.
