Patchworks: No Stoppin’ Dat Rockin’ Vinyl 12"

Patchworks does it again! The French producer/multi-instrumentalistĀ (real name Bruno Hovart) is a modern master of the disco groove, and this 12" is yet another reason to dust of your dancing shoes. For No Stoppin' Dat Rockin' Hovart takes inspiration from the classicĀ Michael JacksonĀ tuneĀ "Rock With You" toĀ deliver 4 absoluteĀ dance floor burners. "Rock (Dub)" kicks it off, acting as a polished alternate instrumental version of the aforementioned tune. Peep the slick disco bass, snappy drums, and funky accoutrements replayed from the MJ original. The "Rock With You (Orchestral)" version takes it a few stepsĀ further, fleshing out the groove with horns, strings and all that jazz. Also includes the deep and dubby chugger "No Stoppin' That Rockin", the looped up soul goodness of "Just What I Please," and the tripped out spaceĀ disco of "Juno Disco." Quality.Ā
