As co-founder of Poo-Bah Records, and Low End Theory regular, Ras has been pushing the edge of hip-hop beats and free jazz, fusion, and afrofuturism for a minute now. Raw Fruit Vol. 1 & 2 were actually originally released as limited cassette runs on Matthewdavid's Leaving Records imprint. The tapes sold out with the quickness, but luckily they've been given the double vinyl treatment for those lacking a proper magnetic tape playing device.
