S.V. on some love shit… Collectable, limited edition seven-inch pressing of Slum Village’s classic “Fall In Love”… easy contender for best tune in the Slum catalog (Dilla's too). T3 and Baaatin (“Fuck this rap shit, I listen to classical!”) hold down the verses, with Jay Dee on chorus duty, delivering one of his signature melodic hooks (just give us a full Dilla singing album already). Inimitable feelgood lovey-dovey vibes from the same group that also had this to say of love: “it’s all bullshit.” Large hole 45 with pretend “test pressing” + date stamp on the label, instrumental on the flip, be smart and cop doubles. Recommended.
