Smif-N-Wessun: Bucktown Vinyl 7"
Originally appearing in 1995 on the Brooklyn duo's debut album Dah Shininâ, âBucktownâ stands as one of the milestones for the East Coast sound. Following up affiliate group Black Moonâs Enta Da Stage, the raw production and ominous themes see the Boot Camp Clikâs conceptual aesthetic more fully realized. Produced by Evil Dee & Mr. Walt of Da Beatminerz, âBucktownâ was the first to sample Jack Bruceâs iconic horn riff, later used by Diamond D and the Artifacts. Previously only available on 12â, we now have an official 7â reissue with the instrumental on the flip for all Original Heads. Doubles Recommended.
