Spacemen 3: Taking Drugs to Make Music to Take Drugs To Vinyl 2LP

Early demos from pioneering psychedelic rockers Spacemen 3. Taking Drugs to Make Music to Take Drugs was originally released in 1990 as an unofficial offering from the Father Yod label. Recorded in 1986, the album includes demos of songs that would end up on the band's debut, Sound of Confusion. It captures the band as they moved on from their garage band beginnings to something much further reaching. While many of the songs would end up on their debut and its follow up, The Perfect Prescription, many fans consider these early 1986 demos to be the vital document of Spacemen 3 at this primal stage. Includes the songs: "Sound Of Confusion" (aka "Walkin' With Jesus"), "Losing Touch With My Mind" and "Come Down Easy." Fifteen tracks in all. Released by Superior Viaduct on double vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve with a printed insert and a digital download.
